Great stay in Kaoshiung

Check in was great, reception staff's English was great. One of the staff gave me sightseeing tips which really helped me explore Kaoshiung. The room was spacious, clean and had every amenity you could need. Breakfast at the hotel resty was very good too. Short walk from Formosa Boulevard station and also the Liouhe Night Markets.

This three star hotel feels more like a four star.

The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious, with firm mattresses and warm bedding. The bathroom was basic but just fine (a little small by US standards but then that's true of most Asian hotel rooms and bathrooms). The staff was friendly and helpful.

The half of our room next to the window had a floor that was a step up from the rest of the floor. One bed was a mattress directly on the raised floor. We didn't need two beds for sleeping but wanted to use one bed as a place to put an open suitcase, but it was too low to do that. I would have preferred to have two normal beds. But this was not a big deal at all and it was nice to have such a spacious room.

Value for money.

Fantastic location, only 5 min walk to Formosa Boulevard MRT interchange. Front desk and restaurant staff are friendly and respectful. Breakfast, though Asian biased, is amazingly good, with lots to choose from. Free tea/coffee, ice cream through out the day (& night). Room isn’t big but adequate for my needs. Bed is very comfortable. No issue with in room wifi.

Nothing except the lack of English tv channels.

Perfect base for a few days in Kaohsiung

We really enjoyed our stay here - the staff were professional, friendly and welcoming, our room was quiet and comfortable, the location was very handy to Formosa Boulevard MRT, we enjoyed a good range of food and drink for breakfast, and appreciated ready access to hot and cold drinks (and ice cream) at any time. We would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Location not bad.. drinks available

Went early but not able to check in. Staffs know that we are waiting as we were really tired and fell asleep at the restaurant.. rooms were ready but they just kept quiet.

A solid choice

Friendly staff, the free coffee, ice cream, breakfast cereal and snacks all day was a nice plus. Room was well equipped for a night or two. They also have English language Discovery channel which was nice. The shower was great -

It didn't impact my sleep as I use earplugs in all hotels, but you can hear some noise from other rooms.

Great staff who assist us patiently. Round the clock free ice-cream and coffee provided was a plus Scrumptious buffet breakfast each morning was a delight. Self-service laundry service helps alot during our extended travel. Great stay
